Lake Powell trip #2

People say the second trip is never as fun! But that doesn't work with Lake Powell. This trip was just as fun as the first one! I love Lake Powell it is one of my favorite trips. This Lake Powell trip was with my Grandpa and all my aunts, uncles, and cousins on my dad's side. My grandma and grandpa started these trips for us many years ago, and we always love them. It was a little bit different this year however, because we were missing the sweet spirit of my loving Grandma.. She passed away in February and we have missed her so so much! To this day when I think of her or hear phrases or songs that remind me of her I start to cry. She was one of the best people I had ever known and it makes me so sad that she is gone and I don't get to spend more time with her and talk with her everyday or live by her down on the Peck Farm.  Grandma Peck we love you so much and missed your greatly at Lake Powell this year. It's just not qutie the same without you. I Can't wait to see you again..

On a bit happier note we still had a good time at Lake Powell.  Even my parents. My mom and my dad both road the water weenie tube and my dad airchaired.  We all had a pretty good time on the tubes! The canyon we stayed at this year had rougher water then the past years so tubing happened a lot this trip and we all loved it! We played card games, swam, skiied, wakeboarded, tubed, golfed pretty much everything you could do plus some more.  Here are just a few pictures of us on our family vacation back in August.
